This page explains the cookies DollarMack.com uses and how to control them. For how we handle personal information more generally, see our privacy policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Some make the site work; others measure visits or help with advertising.

The three kinds we use

  • Necessary (always on). These run the cart and checkout, keep you signed in to your account, protect the site and remember your cookie choice (a cookie called dm_consent, kept for six months). The site can’t work without them.
  • Statistics (only if you agree). Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_<id>, kept up to 2 years), Jetpack statistics and WooCommerce order attribution show us which pages are visited and where visitors come from.
  • Marketing (only if you agree). The Meta Pixel measures our Facebook and Instagram ads, and OptinMonster shows sign-up offers.

Measurement without cookies

Two things run for every visitor, without cookies or anything stored on your device: our own visit counter (aggregate daily totals; your IP address is never stored; details in the privacy policy), and Google Analytics in Google’s “consent mode”. Until you accept statistics cookies, Google Analytics is told not to use cookies or identifiers and receives only cookieless signals, which Google uses for aggregate and estimated counts. If you accept, it switches to normal measurement with cookies; if you reject or later withdraw, it stays (or goes back to) cookieless.

Your choice

Statistics and marketing cookies are blocked until you accept them in the cookie banner. Accept and Reject are equally easy. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page: open cookie settings.

Browser controls

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, the cart, checkout and your account will not work.

Third parties

Cookies set by Google, Meta, Jetpack (Automattic) and OptinMonster are governed by those companies’ own policies. They are only set after you consent to the matching category. The Google Analytics script itself loads for every visitor, but in its cookieless mode until you consent.
